Summary
Located in North East Portland, the Executive 1801 Apartments is an 86-unit Apartment community split between six different wood-framed buildings. Originally clad in T1-11, the buildings were over-clad with fiber cement siding and major damage to the underlying structure resulted. Certa was initially engaged to assist the Ownership team through the assessment process and recovery.
In the summer of 2017, Certa was further engaged to provide design and oversight services for the subsequent repairs. Completed in late 2018, this project is seeing improved energy performance and improved occupant comfort as a result of the significantly improved building envelope systems installed.
