Summary
Riverplace Condominiums was the first mixed-use development in the City of Portland and is located along the scenic Willamette River waterfront, just south of Downtown. The community consists of eight wood-framed buildings constructed over a concrete podium. The property includes 190 residential units, an office building, below-grade parking, and numerous retail storefronts. Certa has worked extensively with this community to develop a reserve program that focuses on durable low-maintenance building envelope assemblies. This multifaceted program has resulted in lower reserve contributions, increased funding health of reserves, and renewed value to their community. To date, we have designed and overseen the full rehabilitation of six of the eight buildings as the community continues to be stewards of this amazing property.
