Summary
The Cameron is a boutique apartment community located in downtown Portland’s Cultural District, one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the city. As a representative for the development group, Certa Building Solutions provided support to the Project Team during the construction of the building envelope including initial mock-ups, performance testing of windows, and periodic field review throughout construction.
The focus of Certa’s involvement was to ensure the overall performance of the building envelope assemblies through their ability to manage rainwater, air leakage, vapor drive, and thermal conductivity. Certa also assisted by resolving constructability issues and providing enhanced detailing of complex flashing and cladding arrangements.
